naresh picked me up to meet pam, dong, huifang and yuliang in town this afternoon. went all the way from cine's carpark to kiliney rd jus to haf chicken rice. den walked back to youth park where we had more food. chilled and toked till ard 10 before naresh and i headed to grandlink to meet yq. watched soccer(yay, arsenal won!), den went to play pool and billiard when naresh went home.
these few days, i realised something, alot of pple ard me have grown up(including me of course) and we'r not the old frens we know. everybody is into new stuff, more serious and getting ready to step into the working society. naresh is learning from his dad already, trying to pass his insurance tests, think huifang and pam are really into their school work, half way to their degrees. min and xd are already in the workforce, apparently facing their different amt of stress and workload from their jobs. amos also got his scholarship wif MOE to become a teacher in the future. there are still others who'r working hard for their future too. while justin and i are also going into insurance soon. we are no longer the carefree and childish bunch.
in the pass, i always tot dat my 21st yr will be so fun and exciting. little did i know dat it'll be such a stressful yr, really a yr for me to grow up and be serious. to my other frens who are mabbe, still 'sleeping', it's time to wake up already, we'r not dat young anymore. work hard and may we all be successful in wadeva we are working towards!
